Doha: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) Index started Thursday's trading session with a loss of 0.09 percent, dropping 9.15 points. As a result, the index fell to the level of 10,109 points, compared to Wednesday's closing session. Data from the stock exchange showed an increase in the performance of the transportation sector by 0.30 percent, the consumer goods and services sector by 0.20 percent, the telecommunications sector by 0.13 percent, the real estate sector by 0.11 percent, and the industrial sector by 0.11 percent. On the other hand, the performance was negative for the insurance sector by 0.03 percent and the banking and financial services sector by 0.34 percent. At around 10:00 am, QSE recorded 1816 transactions worth QAR 40.393 million, distributed over 23.346 million shares. Source: Qatar News Agency
