Doha: The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) rose 10.01 points, or 0.10 percent, at the start of trading on Sunday, to reach the level of 10,519 points, compared to Thursday's closing, with backed by most sectors. QSE's figures showed a positive performance in most sectors as the Telecoms rose by 0.75 percent; Consumer Goods and Services by 0.44 percent; Real Estate by 0.24 percent; Transportation by 0.17 percent; Banks and Financial Services by 0.04 percent and Insurance by 0.02 percent. On the other hand, the index saw a decline in Industrials by 0.02 percent. By 10:00 am, 23.664 million shares were traded in 1,382 transactions valued QAR 62.656 million. Source: Qatar News Agency
