Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange index rose 7.24 points, or 0.07%, at the beginning of trading on Wednesday, reaching 10,078 points compared to yesterday's closing. QSE general index was supported by a rise in six sectors: Real Estate by 0.32%; Consumer Goods and Services by 0.28%; Banks and Financial Services by 0.25%; Telecoms by 0.13%; Industrials by 0.03%; and Insurance by 0.01%. Transportation dropped by 0.48%. By 10:00 am, 12.763 million shares were traded in 1,461 transactions valued QR 35.524 million. Source: Qatar News Agency
