Doha: The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) rose 28.60 points, or 0.29%, at the beginning of trading on Sunday, reaching 9,730 points, compared to last closing. The QSE general index was supported by a rise in all sectors: Consumer Goods and Services sectors by 0.92%; Telecoms by 0.74%; Real Estate by 0.50%; Transportations by 0.22%; Banks and Financial Services by 0.21%; Industrials by 0.09%; and Insurance by 0.03%. At 10:00 am, QSE registered trading of 23.693 million shares in 2,162 transactions valued QR 73.051 million. Source: Qatar News Agency
