Pretoria, President Cyril Ramaphosa of South Africa took the constitutional oath of office today for his second term at the Union Buildings, the official seat of government in the capital Pretoria. Ramaphosa, aged 71, will lead a coalition government for the next five years, after his party, the African National Congress, lost its majority for the first time in the elections held on May 29 last year.
