RAP, Alia for Early Intervention review cooperation

Royal Academy of Police Commander Brigadier Fawaz Hasan Al Hasan visited Alia for Early Intervention.

Alia for Early Intervention is an autism center founded by the Bahrain Society for Children with behavior and communication disorders.

The commander was briefed on the various sections of the center including the Occupational Therapy Section, and the Intensive Learning Section, which focuses on training the children accomplish tasks on their own without assistance.

He was also briefed on programs to help the children acquire skills that prepare them to get integrated into the labor market in the future.

Brigadier Al Hasan praised the Center's role and its efforts in taking care of autistic children and integrate them into society.

The visit aims to identify the role of the center in providing intensive and comprehensive educational and behavioural services based on scientifically approved procedures.

He discussed the potential of training the academy’s affiliates to deal with cases of autism, and reviewed the possibility of cooperation with the center in implementing a summer camp program.

Director of the Alia for Early Intervention Shaikha Rania bint Ali Al Khalifa expressed her appreciation to the commander's interest, affirming keenness to further cooperate with the academy.
