Manama, Nov. 3 (BNA): In the presence of His Highness Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid bin Isa Al Khalifa, Vice-President of the Supreme Council for Environment and the Deputy Chairman of the Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club (REHC), the REHC today held the second race of this season, 2023-2024, at its racecourse in Raffa, Sakhir.
Their Highnesses and equestrian sports fans also attended the eight-round race which was held over the cups of the Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC) and the late Abdulhadi Al Afoo.
Yasser Abdulrahim Al Abbasi, GPIC Chief Executive Officer, presented the trophies of the GPIC Cup to Salah Abdullatif, the winner owner of the second round, Mohammed Khalid Abdulrahim, the winner owner of the sixth round, and Allen Smith, the winning trainer of the seventh round.
Meanwhile, Abdulredha Al Afoo, Managing Director of the Al Afoo Company, presented the trophy of the late Abdulhadi Al Afoo Cup to His Highness Shaikh Sultan Al Deen bin Mohammad bin Salman Al Khalifa.
