Manama, The Representatives Council's Bureau has lauded the sound directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to provide adequate housing and decent living to the Bahraini families. In a meeting chaired by Speaker Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, the panel affirmed parliamentary support for implementing modern and integrated housing projects, using innovative solutions in partnership with the private sector. The Representatives Council's Bureau also praised the handover of the unit keys to the first batch of the beneficiaries from the East Sitra Housing Project, marking the commencement of the gradual operation of the residential East Sitra town. The panel stressed the importance of completing all construction and service projects in East Hidd and all other housing towns, as well as finalising all procedures to hand over the housing units to beneficiaries. The Representatives Council's Bureau also name d new members to the joint committee on restructuring the government subsidy system. The new members representing the Council of Representatives are MP Eman Hassan Showaitar, Deputy Chairperson of the Financial and Economic Committee, MP Lulwa Ali Al Rumaihi, Deputy Chairperson of the Services Committee, and MP Mohammed Moosa Al Balushi, Deputy Chairman of the Public Utilities Committee.
