The Russian Ministry of Defense announced Sunday that six Ukrainian drones and two ballistic missiles were shot down over various Russian regions. A statement issued by the ministry said that two ballistic missiles were destroyed over Belgorod Province, 3 drones over Bryansk Province, two drones over Lipetsk Province, and one drone over Volgograd Province in southwestern Russia, Russia Today reported. Ukraine has stepped up its drone attacks on Russian regions in recent months. Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine on Feb. 24, 2022. Source: Qatar News Agency
