Federal Minister of Labor and Economy of Austria Martin Kocher signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in Vienna, on Tuesday, with Saudi Minister of Economy and Planning Faisal Alibrahim, to boost economic cooperation between the two countries. The MoU aims to diversify and strengthen economic ties in economic modelling, sharing expertise and information, encouraging cooperation in trade and industry, research and development, tourism, small and medium sized enterprises, and a range of sectors of mutual interest. The memorandum stipulates holding conferences, seminars, and exchange of experts, in addition to cooperation between public and private institutions. Also, the two parties will commit to safeguarding intellectual property rights and sharing information for the purposes determined in the memorandum. Source: Qatar News Agency
