Al Baha, The Heritage Commission inaugurated a series of heritage events yesterday at the historic Bin Raqoush Palace in the Al-Baha region. These events, which will continue until August 13, aim to raise awareness about the Kingdom's rich history and heritage, highlight its cultural depth, and highlight efforts to preserve the region's cultural heritage. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the natural, human, and historical treasures within the palace. Additional goals include enriching the visitors' heritage experience and fostering national awareness of the site's historical significance to ensure the preservation of values passed down through generations. The Bin Raqoush Palace, open from 4:00 PM to 11:30 PM, is set to attract a diverse range of community members. The palace features a guest reception area, a heritage guest room, and a camel products pavilion, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA). Visitors can enjoy three-dimensional shows, intangible cultural heritage exhibitions, the W orld Heritage Site Exhibition, as well as displays of textiles, Arabic calligraphy, collectibles and decorations, heritage design styles, and various crafts of Al Baha. Heritage villages are proliferating throughout the Al Baha governorates, reflecting the region's cultural, historical, and archaeological heritage, and contributing to both tourism and the local economy.
