Manama, Lieutenant General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health (SCH), inaugurated the Second Bahrain Psychiatry Conference. The conference is organised by Government Hospitals in partnership with Education Plus, on October 10-11. Lt. Gen. Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah highlighted Bahrain's commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare and developing the sector in line with the country's comprehensive development process under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, with the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. Dr. Shaima Bucheery, Head of Medical Services at the Psychiatric Hospital and Chairperson of the conference, said the conference provides a platform for exchanging expertise and enhancing mental healthcare, featuring experts from Bahrain, the GCC, Egypt, and the UK.
