On Friday, settlers burned vast areas of agricultural land and a vehicle lot in the village of Barqa, east of Ramallah. The head of the Barqa Village Council, Sayel Kanaan, said that a group of settlers from the 'Oz Etzion' settlement, established on village lands, set fire to agricultural lands in the northern and western regions, with an area estimated at 500 dunams, and the fire destroyed dozens of perennial olive trees.
