Several Palestinians were injured at dawn Tuesday when the Israeli occupation forces stormed into Ramallah and Al-Bireh in the occupied West Bank. According to Palestinian news agency (WAFA), the occupation forces raided Al-Tireh neighborhood in Ramallah and broke into a residential building housing the apartment of detainee Dr. Aysar Al Barghouthi, and another residential building housing the apartment of detainee Dr. Khalid Al Kharouf in Um Alsharayet neighborhood in Al Bireh, and started to demolish them. Accordingly, confrontations erupted in Al-Tireh with the occupation soldiers who fired live ammunition and tear gas, injuring four Palestinians, one of them seriously. Meanwhile, the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that three Palestinians were injured, one of them was seriously shot in the chest, when the occupation forces stormed Ramallah city. The Israeli occupation forces arrested Al Barghouthi and Al Kharouf on Jan. 8 on the pretext of executing a shooting operation east of Ramallah . On July 31, the occupation forces blew up the house of the detained nurse Mourid Dahhadha in Atara, north of Ramallah, on the pretext of taking part in the same operation. Source: Qatar News Agency
