Several Palestinians Suffocated during Confrontations with Occupation Forces in West Bank

A number of Palestinians suffered from suffocation during confrontations with Israeli occupation forces in the village of Husan, west of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank. Local sources said that the confrontations were concentrated in Al-Muteena area at the eastern entrance of the village, where occupation soldiers fired live bullets, sound bombs, and toxic tear gas, causing several citizens to suffer from suffocation. They were treated on-site. The occupation forces closed the main road to the village and prevented the movement of citizens and vehicles, the sources added. The occupation forces also arrested a young man and two girls from Bab as-Sahira in occupied Jerusalem after assaulting them. Local sources said that the occupation forces physically assaulted a girl in the vicinity of Bab as-Sahira in the occupied city of Jerusalem, prompting a young man to intervene to defend her. The occupation soldiers assaulted the young man before detaining him together with two girls. Meanwhile, the occupati on forces raided the town of Sinjil, north of Ramallah. Security sources reported that the forces entered the town of Sinjil and patrolled its streets, with no arrests reported. Cities, towns, and refugee camps in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem are witnessing daily raids and incursions by the occupation forces and settlers, accompanied by confrontations, arrests, and the firing of live and rubber bullets, as well as tear gas at Palestinians.
