Ramallah - Ma'an - Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Fareseen Shaheen praised on Wednesday the positions of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, its King, government and people, in supporting the Palestinian cause in all international forums, and in providing what is necessary to provide relief to our people in the Gaza Strip. This came during her meeting with the Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to the State of Palestine, Issam Al-Badour, at the Ministry's headquarters in Ramallah. Shaheen praised the historical fraternal relations between the State of Palestine and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, stressing the importance of continuing joint coordination between the two countries, under the directives of President Mahmoud Abbas and King Abdullah II. Shaheen reviewed the tragic conditions in light of the war of extermination and displacement that our besieged people in the Gaza Strip are being subjected to, and what our people are being subjected to in the occupied West Bank, especially the ongoing occupation aggression on the cities of Jenin and Tulkarm and their camps. The two parties discussed the outcomes of the emergency meeting of members of the diplomatic corps held at the ministry's headquarters yesterday, Tuesday, in addition to coordinating positions and efforts aimed at strengthening the steadfastness of the Palestinian people in light of the aggression to which they are being subjected. In turn, Al-Badour reviewed the Kingdom's ongoing efforts to bring humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip in a manner that is accompanied by providing the necessary aid to the occupied West Bank. He also touched on the reality of Jordanian field hospitals in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, which continue their work to serve the Palestinian people despite all the obstacles. He also reiterated the Kingdom's firm and supportive position on the Palestinian cause, noting that the Kingdom, under the directives of King Abdullah II, continues its tireless efforts in all forums to stop the Israel i aggression and achieve the just and legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.
