Ramallah - Together - The Shahid Center for Citizen Rights and Community Development, and the Department of International Relations and Cooperation at the Muhammadiyah Society in Indonesia MuhAid-LHKI, today, Monday, launched a joint program in intercultural dialogue and capacity building in Palestine, called 'Multicultural Dialogue and Capacity Building for Palestine: A Building Laboratory.' Peace, Agents of Change' supported by 'LAZISMU'. The program seeks to support the Palestinian initiative through various forms in the fields of education and development, humanitarian and relief aid, and scholarships in higher education institutions affiliated with the Muhammadiyah Society. This program represents efforts to support peace and comprehensive independence in Palestine. The program includes a set of advocacy activities for the Palestinian people, specifically in Gaza, building the capabilities of Palestinian youth in cultural dialogue and popular diplomacy, psychosocial support to recover from conflicts, a nd educational and cultural exchange. It should be noted that the Muhammadiyah Society will work in partnership with the Shahid Center to implement the program in Palestine with a number of local partners active in human rights, gender equality, social justice, and promoting political and social awareness and societal change.
