The occupation municipality forced the Jerusalemite citizen Walid Edkaidek to demolish his house in Beit Hanina, north of Jerusalem, with his own hands, under the pretext of building without a permit. Edkidek explained that he was forced to demolish his house, after successive decisions to demolish it, and the impossibility of obtaining a license, under the pretext of building without a license. He added that he tried to license the house and provide the necessary information, but his requests were rejected. The house, which is home to 6 people, has been in existence since 2016 and has been fined for 'unlicensed construction.' Edkidek pointed out that he had filed objections to the Central Court and then the Supreme Court, in an attempt to prevent the demolition of his house, to no avail. During the past few days, a commercial facility was demolished in Issawiya, a building in Umm Tuba, and two apartments in the village of Jabal Mukaber. Source: Maan News Agency
