Manama, Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, met with Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, President of the National Audit Office (NAO), who presented the 2022-2023 NAO Annual Report.
Al Saleh praised NAO's efforts in performing its oversight duties and preparing reports that ensure enhancing the efficiency and performance.
The chairman said that the report highlighted the government organisations’ efforts in achieving development and commended the NAO’s keenness in preserving public funds and contributing to national development.
Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed commended the Council’s efforts in supporting the process of implementing laws and regulations, praising the cooperation between the legislative and executive branches that contribute to different national development areas.
