Manama, Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, highlighted Bahrain's distinguished charity efforts, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and supported by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. In a statement marking the International Day of Charity, which is observed annually on September 5, Al Musallam commended Bahrain's global accomplishments in charitable work, highlighting its use of diplomatic and economic efforts to support humanitarian causes, particularly for countries in crisis. Al Musallam also commended the government's efforts and the role of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF), led by His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM the King's Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of RHF, in implementing Significant charitable and humanitarian programmes.
