Manama, Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, received Andrea Catalano, the Italian Ambassador to Bahrain. Speaker Al Musallam emphasised that the visionary approach of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has contributed to establishing values of tolerance and peaceful coexistence internationally through humanitarian projects, cultural initiatives, and global programmes of Bahrain. The Speaker praised the ongoing cooperation and strong relations between Bahrain and Italy, supported by the Kingdom's government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He highlighted the parliamentary commitment to fostering active partnership, effective cooperation, and continuous coordination to serve the interests of both countries and their peoples. For his part, Ambassador Catalano commended Bahrain's efforts in enhancing cooperation and expressed his country's pride in hosting the the King Hamad Chair for Interfaith Dial ogue and Peaceful Coexistence at the University of Sapienza, Italy. This initiative supports efforts to promote a culture of peace, tolerance, and coexistence among youth.
