Manama, Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, met Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Board of Trustees Chairman of the King Hamad Global Centre for Peaceful Coexistence MP Hassan Ibrahim Hassan and Abdulla Isa Al Mannai, the Centre's Executive Director, attended the meeting. The Speaker commended the role of the King Hamad Global Centre for Peaceful Coexistence and its commitment to fulfilling its objectives, which reflect the inclusive humanitarian vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the legacy of Bahrain's culture of openness, coexistence, tolerance, and peace. The Speaker highlighted the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for promoting national values and strengthening international partnerships through programmes and initiatives that promote the culture of coexistence and tolerance. The Speaker underscored the importance of enhancing cooperation between parliamentary diploma cy and Bahrain's distinguished humanitarian diplomacy to highlight national achievements and the societal culture in international forums. He emphasised the Council of Representatives' commitment to strengthening cooperation with the King Hamad Global Centre for Peaceful Coexistence through a modern and advanced approach, building on the esteemed and active international presence of Bahraini institutions. The Board of Trustees Chairman expressed appreciation for the efforts of the Council of Representatives in showcasing Bahrain's humanitarian values globally through active parliamentary diplomacy. He reaffirmed the Centre's commitment to promoting and consolidating values and principles of coexistence, tolerance, and peace, in collaboration with all partners and institutions within and outside Bahrain.
