Doha: May 20 - The State Appreciation and Encouragement Award winners stated that receiving this recognition from HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani demonstrates the State of Qatar's care for science, culture, the arts, and the various forms of creativity and innovation. Speaking to Qatar News Agency , the winners said that receiving these awards from the country's wise leadership is a badge of honor to them and that it motivates them to contribute even more to the State of Qatar out of a sense of patriotism, adding that this honoring is not limited to them alone, but encompasses all of Qatar's creative talents. Speaking to QNA, the winner of the State Appreciation and Encouragement Award for heritage Ali Al Fayyadh Al Khalidi thanked HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani for his generous patronage of innovation in its various forms, especially with regard to heritage, adding that the State of Qatar is constantly caring for the national heritage and demonstrating an interest in Arab and globa l heritages. Also speaking to QNA, the winner of the award for arts, Yousef Ahmed Muhammad Al Hamid said that receiving this award from the state and HH the Amir confirms the state's support for the arts and creative talents, leading the winners to pledge to Qatar and to HH the Amir to carry on with innovation and production. In a similar statement to QNA, the winner of the State Appreciation and Encouragement Award for architecture Eng. Ibrahim Mohamed Ibrahim Jaidah said that getting to meet HH the Amir marks a life highlight for him, in addition to meeting such creative and distinguished individuals in various fields, adding that this occasion is proof of the wise leadership's interest in providing further opportunities for and encouragement to creatives and innovators in all fields. Jaidah continued by saying that this award is also an expression of appreciation to all Qatari men and women working in Architecture and for the efforts to preserve the Qatari architectural identity. Speaking to the Qatar News Agency , State Appreciation and Encouragement Award winner for musical arts Mohammed Abdullah Al Marzouqi expressed his pride in being honored by HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, which culminated all of his years of hard work and dedication on the various media, cultural, and artistic platforms. Al Marzouqi also underscored HH the Amir's continuous initiatives in support of culture and innovation. On the other hand, the winner of the award for theater, Dr. Hasan Abdullah Rashid told QNA that it is not strange to receive this recognition by HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, as His Highness is a patron of all sectors and celebrates creative talents, adding that this award is not only a recognition for him personally, rather to the entire theatric scene. The winner of the award for poetry Zakia Malallah Al Essa told QNA that this award reflects the wise leadership's patronage of all branches of culture as well as providing creatives and innovators with support and encouragement for fu rther contributions.
