Sudanese Authorities Extend Airspace Closure until July 31

The Sudanese civil aviation authority extended the closure of Sudans airspace until July 31.

In a statement, the Sudanese civil aviation authority confirmed that Sudans airspace will remain closed to all flights until July 31, with the exception of humanitarian aid and evacuation flights after a relevant permission obtained from the competent authorities.

Sudan's airspace was closed to regular traffic after a military conflict erupted between the army and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in mid-April.
