Manama, Noor bint Ali Al Khulaif, Minister of Sustainable Development, met with Amin Salam, the Minister of Economy and Trade of Lebanon, on the sidelines the preparatory meetings of the Economic and Social Council of the League of Arab States ahead of the 33rd Arab Summit to be hosted by Bahrain. During the meeting, Minister Al Khulaif highlighted the strong and longstanding Bahraini-Lebanese relationships in various sectors, especially in sustainable development. Minister Al Khulaif emphasised the Kingdom of Bahrain's commitment and efforts in advancing sustainable development, implementing monitoring mechanisms to track progress in sustainable development and outlining future plans. Minister Salam lauded the bilateral ties between both countries and commended the efforts of Bahrain in hosting the 33rd Arab Summit, as well as its support of joint Arab action towards greater integration at various levels.
