Washington, A delegation from the Ministry of Sustainable Development comprising Dana Emad Hamza, the Assistant Undersecretary for Sustainable Development, and Futoon Abdulrahman Alammadi, Communication and International Relations Director, has participated in the 2024 Global Inclusive Growth Summit, hosted by the Mastercard Centre for Inclusive Growth in Washington D.C. The annual Global Inclusive Growth Summit aims to provide real solutions to the most pressing challenges in the field of sustainable development through collaboration and candid conversation among entrepreneurs, innovators, policymakers and emerging changemakers. The Global Inclusive Growth Summit 2024 featured several plenary sessions that focused on topics related to sustainable development. The sessions brought together renowned speakers, including Amina J. Mohammed, Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations and Chair of the United Nations Sustainable Development Group, and Mia Amor Mottley, Prime Minister of Barbados. Through thes e sessions, the Global Inclusive Growth Summit shed light on artificial intelligence and the role played by technology in accelerating progress towards achieving sustainable development goals.
