Syria condemned the brutal Israeli aggression on the international road linking Lebanon and Syria, which led to the cutting off of this vital highway, calling for action to stop this unbridled Zionist crime, according to statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates. The statement noted 'In continuation of its brutal crimes and ongoing aggression against Lebanon and Syria, this morning the Zionist entity bombed the busy Masnaa-Jdeidet Yabous border crossing between the two countries, which led to the cutting off of the international road, the vital artery used by hundreds of thousands of displaced Lebanese and Syrian citizens fleeing the Zionist killing and destruction machine in Lebanon to Syria. We condemn this unbridled Zionist crime that has even targeted civil defense crews and humanitarian relief workers, and we call for action to stop it immediately and ensure that this entity is held accountable for its crimes and does not escape punishment, the statement added.
