Damascus, Health Minister, Hassan al-Ghabbash discussed Sunday, with the Ambassador of the Republic of India in Damascus, Dr. Irshad Ahmad ways to enhance cooperation and coordination in Health field. During the meeting held at the Ministry's headquarters, al-Ghabbash underlined the strength of relations between the two countries at all levels, especially in the field of health, and praised the India's advanced medical expertise in the field of technology and pharmaceutical industries. Minister Al-Ghabbash appreciated the India's support to the health sector in Syria, especially in the aftermath of the earthquake and the response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Indian ambassador, for his part, affirmed his country's desire and willingness to increase work and coordination in the field of training of human cadres, the exchange of experiences, holding of scientific conferences and seminars in the health sector, especially pharmaceutical industries.
