Damascus, Minister of Transport Zuhair Khuzeim discussed with Pakistani Ambassador to Syria Shahid Akhtar prospects of boosting bilateral ties in transport sector. Activating the joint agreements inked with the transport companies and their impacts on expanding and increasing the economic and commercial exchange, along with expanding areal transport cooperation and linking the transportation arteries for the benefit of the two peoples were the focus of the meeting. Minister Khuzeim reviewed with Ikhtar the repercussions of the embargo and war been waged on the country, especially on the transport field, and means of overcoming them. Ikhtar, in turn, attached great importance to enhancing the ties between transport establishments in the two countries and increasing the flights and activating economic and commercial movement.
