Damascus, Minister of Water Resources, Eng. Hussein Makhlouf, reviewed with his Iraqi counterpart, Eng. Aoun Dhiyab Abdullah, the joint cooperation between the two countries on issues related to water sector. During a virtual meeting, the two sides exchanged views on the desire of the two ministries to enhance joint cooperation and exchange experiences, in addition to discussing the mechanism for activating the work of the measuring stations team formed with the Syrian side. The two sides agreed to set a date for the team to conduct field visits to joint measuring stations and exchange experiences between the two countries through continued training of staff in several specialties.
