Temperatures will continue to rise to become from 3 to 6 degrees above average as the country is affected superficial higher air pressure accompanied by western currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere. Meteorology Department expected in its Friday bulletin that the weather will be clear to partly cloudy in general as well as rainfalls expected over the northern and coastal areas. The weather will be cold at night, warning of fog formation in some interior areas and of frost over the mountain heights, The Meteorology Department added. The winds will be changeable to southwesterly between a low and moderate in speed, and the sea waves will be medium in amplitude. The expected temperatures in some major cities will be in Damascus 18/7, Tartous 19/15, Aleppo 13/6, Homs 19/7, Hama 17/9, Lattakia 18/15, Deir Ezzor 17/7 and Quneitra 16/5.
