Temperatures tend to drop slightly to become around or above its average as the country is being affected by an extension of the Indian surface monsoon depression accompanied by southern and western currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere. Meteorology department expected in its Friday bulletin that the weather will be hot in general clear as it will be partly cloudy in the northwestern regions ,and misty in the eastern regions, al-Jazeera and al-Badia. The winds will be westerly to southwesterly over coastal and southern regions, while it will be westerly to northwesterly in the rest of the regions, and the sea waves will be low in amplitude. The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 36/20, Daraa 34/21, Homs 32/22, Lattakia 30/26, Aleppo 37/24 and Deir Ezzor 41/27. Source : Syrian Arab News Agency
