She continued, "This expresses the victory of the Palestinian right to establish an independent state with Jerusalem as its capital, and for the Palestinian people to live in security and peace like other peoples, in accordance with international law and the resolutions of international legitimacy, in light of the genocidal war, ethnic cleansing, and forced displacement taking place against Palestinian civilians."
