Ramallah - Ma'an - From yesterday evening until Monday morning, the occupation forces arrested at least 12 citizens from the West Bank, including a woman from Hebron, in addition to children, including one wounded, and former prisoners. The Prisoners' Club and the Prisoners' and Ex-Prisoners' Affairs Authority said in a joint statement that the occupation forces carried out extensive field investigation operations in the towns of Silwad and Kafr Ni'ma in the Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate, targeting at least 80 citizens, the majority of whom were later released, while we were not able to confirm their identities. And the numbers of those whom the occupation kept detaining. The statement added that the occupation continues to carry out widespread raids and abuse, accompanied by severe beatings and threats against detainees and their families, in addition to sabotage and destruction of citizens' homes. He pointed out that the total number of arrests after October 7 amounted to about (9,360), and this tota l includes those who were arrested from homes, through military checkpoints, those who were forced to surrender themselves under pressure, and those who were held hostage. He explained that the occupation continues to carry out arrest campaigns in the West Bank, which are accompanied by systematic abuse and torture against detainees and their families, in an unprecedented manner, and the occupation did not exclude the sick, wounded, and the elderly during the arrest campaigns.
