Ramallah - Ma'an - From yesterday evening until Sunday morning, the Israeli occupation forces arrested at least 20 citizens from the West Bank, including children and a high school student, in addition to former prisoners. The Prisoners' Club and the Prisoners' and Ex-Prisoners' Affairs Authority said in a brief statement that the arrest operations were concentrated in the Hebron Governorate, while the rest were distributed in the governorates of Nablus, Ramallah, Qalqilya, Jericho, and Tubas, accompanied by widespread abuse during the arrest campaigns, severe beatings, and threats against Detainees and their families, in addition to widespread sabotage and destruction of citizens' homes. The statement added that the total number of arrests after October 7 of last year rose to more than (9,345), and this total includes those who were arrested from homes, through military checkpoints, those who were forced to surrender themselves under pressure, and those who were held hostage. He pointed out that the occup ation continues its systematic arrest campaigns, as one of the most prominent established policies, which escalated in an unprecedented manner after the seventh of October, not only in terms of the level of the number of detainees, but also in terms of the level of crimes committed, in addition to the raids into the homes of the detainees' families, which are accompanied by operations Extensive vandalism and destruction.
