The occupation arrests 22 citizens from the West Bank

Ramallah - Ma'an - Since yesterday evening, until Tuesday morning, the Israeli occupation forces arrested at least 22 citizens from the West Bank, including citizen Ola Dalaysha, the wife of prisoner Maher Dalaysha from the Jalazoun camp, in addition to a child and former prisoners. The Prisoners' and Ex-Prisoners' Affairs Authority and the Prisoners' Club explained in a statement that the arrests were concentrated in the Ramallah and Bethlehem governorates, while the rest of the arrests were distributed among the Hebron, Tubas, Jenin, Qalqilya, and Jerusalem governorates. In addition, the occupation forces continue to carry out widespread harassment, severe beatings, threats against detainees and their families, and the destruction and sabotage of citizens' homes, in addition to field investigation operations. It is noteworthy that the total number of arrests after October 7 reached more than (8,910), and this total includes those who were arrested from homes, through military checkpoints, those who were forced to surrender themselves under pressure, and those who were held hostage. Note that the ongoing and escalating arrest campaigns in an unprecedented manner come within the framework of the comprehensive aggression against our people and the ongoing genocide in Gaza, after October 7, which targeted all groups of children, women, the elderly, and the sick, in an unprecedented manner.
