HEBRON - Ma'an - Israeli occupation forces arrested seven citizens from the town of Beit Ummar, including six former prisoners, at dawn on Thursday, after raiding several homes and searching them thoroughly, causing severe damage to those homes. Media activist in Beit Ummar, Muhammad Ayyad Awad, reported that large forces of the occupation army stormed the areas of Beit Za'ta, Tarbiqa, Safa and the center of Beit Ummar, where the occupation soldiers stormed a number of citizens' homes and searched them, destroying the furniture and belongings of the homes that were raided and detaining their family members in individual rooms until the end of the raiding operations. Awad added that the following were arrested: Jihad Hisham Khalil Abu Maria, 34 years old, Sharif Zahdi Sharif Awad, 19 years old, Malik Bassam Mahmoud Al-Tayt, 24 years old, the child Amr Bassam Mahmoud Al-Tayt, 15 years old, Hamad Murad Mahmoud Sabarna, 23 years old, Abdul Aziz Shaalan Al-Hindi, 49 years old, and Karim Muhammad Abdul Majeed Akh lil, 48 years old. Awad pointed out that the occupation soldiers fired live bullets, sound bombs and gas bombs in the Dhahr area, which caused a number of citizens to suffer from suffocation and were treated in the field.
