The United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) announced that three of its soldiers sustained minor injuries, on Sunday, following an explosion near their vehicle, in the outskirts of the Yarin area in southern Lebanon. In a statement, UNIFIL explained that all peacekeeping soldiers who were patrolling there had peacefully returned to their base, highlighting that it opened an investigation into the incident. UNIFIL stressed that it reminds all parties and actors of their responsibility in sparing peacekeeping personnel and civilians any potential harm. Noteworthy, UNIFIL is multinational international forces affiliated with the United Nations and was established for peacekeeping operations in Lebanon. Source: Qatar News Agency
