The Turkish authorities announced Sunday that they have controlled three wildfires that engulfed the forests in the Izmir and Balikesir provinces, western Turkiye. Turkish Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Ibrahim Yumakli asserted that the firefighting teams have controlled the wildfires that broke out Saturday in the forests of Izmir and Balikesir provinces, where wildfires were controlled overnight.
