The Turkish Ministry of Defense announced the elimination of 17 militants from the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) group in northern Iraq. The ministry said in a statement that Turkish forces were able to eliminate 17 militants following air strikes. It reported that 8 militants were eliminated in the Kara Region, 4 in Hakurk, and 5 in Qandil. Turkiye is carrying out operations to combat the PKK, which targets its forces and citizens.
