Two United Nations Interim Force(UNIFIL)soldiers were injured in hostile Israeli artillery shelling that targeted the main entrance to the UNIFIL command center in Naqoura. The Lebanese National News Agency reported'' that an enemy Merkava tank fired an artillery shell at one of the UNIFIL towers on the main road linking Tyre to Naqoura in front of the Lebanese army checkpoint, which led to the injury of two soldiers from the Sri Lankan battalion and damage to the entrance''. A UN source announced on Thursday that Israeli forces opened fire on three UNIFIL positions in the general headquarters in Ras al-Naqoura, which resulted in the injury of two soldiers from the forces, both of Indonesian nationality.
