Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jassim Mohammed Al Budaiwi met with Director of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Achim Steiner, on the sidelines of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly. During the meeting, they discussed several key topics, particularly the significant role that GCC countries play in supporting the work of the UNDP. Steiner praised this role, describing it as vital and central to implementing the program's plans on the ground. The discussion also covered the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding between the GCC and the UNDP, as well as shared developmental efforts and initiatives.
