Gaza - Together - United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs, Martin Griffiths, said that the bombing of Gaza after the seventh of last October turned the poor sector under siege into hell on earth. Griffiths added that delivering humanitarian aid to the residents of the Gaza Strip who are on the brink of starvation is almost impossible. He pointed out that humanitarian and United Nations workers in Gaza were killed in unreasonable numbers. Griffiths stated: World leaders have failed us, and some of them provided unconditional support to their allies despite evidence of their violation of humanitarian law. Weapons continued to flow to Israel from Washington and other countries despite the horrific impact of the war on civilians in Gaza. He said: Civilians and infrastructure in Gaza were subjected to excessive damage, and there is politicization of aid amid the spread of hunger and disease. Source: Maan News Agency
