Gaza: The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said that Palestinians inside the Gaza Strip are still facing forced displacement, after the Israeli occupation forces launched their attack on the city of Rafah in the south of the Gaza Strip. She wrote in a blog post on her official page on the 'X' platform, today, Friday: 'Since the start of the military attack on the Palestinian city of Rafah, more than 630,000 people have been forced to flee the area.' She pointed out that Palestinian citizens took refuge in Deir al-Balah, which has now become unbearably overcrowded and suffering from miserable conditions. For its part, the United Nations warned weeks ago that the Israeli attack on Rafah would paralyze humanitarian operations and cause a catastrophic rise in the number of civilian casualties. It is noteworthy that more than 1.4 million Palestinian citizens, or half of the population of Gaza, have taken refuge in Rafah, after fleeing Israeli attacks in other places, especi ally the central and northern Gaza Strip, over the past seven months Source: Maan News Agency
