Major US stock indexes closed lower at the end of the trading session on Wednesday.
The S&P 500 lost 33.62 points, or 0.76%, to end at 4,404.24 points, while the Nasdaq Composite lost 156.59 points, or 1.15%, to 13,474.45.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 179.86 points, or 0.51%, to 34,766.53.
