Damascus, The Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in Damascus has started receiving Venezuelans residing in Syria to participate in the Venezuelan presidential elections. After casting his vote, The Ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in Damascus, Jose Gregorio Biomorgi, affirmed in a statement to SANA that the embassy has taken all necessary measures to ensure the success of the electoral process and facilitate procedures for Venezuelan citizens in Syria. Biomorgi pointed out that Venezuelan citizens in Syria came from the governorates of Damascus, Homs, Aleppo, Tartous and Sweida to cast their votes, noting that the ballot boxes were open for the election from this morning until 5 :00 pm, and it can be extended if voters continue to flock. In a statement to SANA, a number of Venezuelan citizens stressed the importance of their participation in the presidential elections, as Venezuelan citizen Hoda Al-Sawah praised the good organization and facilities provided by the embassy to her country's citizens to cast their votes freely.
