The Acting Director of the Social Rehabilitation at the Ministry of Social Development, Sadiq Sahwan, has affirmed the readiness of 45 members of the administrative and educational staff in academic and vocational rehabilitation homes and centres to receive 182 male and female students with disabilities during the new academic year 2023-2024.
Those educational facilities for students with disabilities include the Academic and Vocational Rehabilitation Centre, the Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait Rehabilitation Centre, the Sheikhan Al Farsi Centre for Comprehensive Speech, the Child Day Care Centre, the National Bank of Bahrain Rehabilitation Home and the Al Matrook Centre for Guidance Rehabilitation.
On the occasion, the Social Rehabilitation Directorate at the Social Development Ministry expressed thanks and appreciation to the parents for their constant support for their children to pursue their education.
It also paid tribute to all the teaching and administrative staff at vocational rehabilitation homes and centres for their dedication to carrying out their mission with professionalism, wishing everyone a successful school year.
