Various areas in the West Bank witnessed Friday clashes between Palestinians and the Israeli occupation forces. Clashes broke out in the town of Beita, south of Nablus, between Israeli soldiers and participants in an anti-settlement march, during which a number of Palestinians suffered from suffocation. In Huwara town, south of Nablus, settlers, protected by the occupation forces, attacked Palestinian lands, leading to the outbreak of confrontations during which live bullets, stun grenades and tear gas were used, but no injuries were reported. Clashes also broke out between Palestinians and the occupation forces in the village of Kafr Qaddum, east of Qalqilya, following the weekly anti-settlement march, while other forces stormed the cities of Bethlehem, Beit Jala, Beit Sahour, and the Dheisheh camp, which led to the outbreak of clashes. Cities, towns and camps of the West Bank are subjected daily to raids and incursions by the occupation forces and settlers, during which arrests are made and live and rub ber bullets and toxic tear gas bombs are fired at the Palestinians.
