Manama, Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, held a remote meeting with Firas Gharaibeh, the Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Bahrain. The minister praised the successful collaboration between the ministry and the UNDP in the field of youth development, highlighting the positive results that have contributed to providing Bahraini youth with experiences and skills, as well as supporting their projects and innovations. She stressed the ministry's keenness to boost cooperation with UNDP, by launching more initiatives aimed at empowering young people and paving the way for them to participate actively in achieving sustainable development goals. Minister Tawfiqi reviewed the programmes and initiatives implemented by the ministry for the youth sector in the kingdom, emphasising their significance in empowering young people She also discussed the outcomes of collaborative programmes between the two entities and their positive impact on youth. Gharaib eh praised the efforts of the Youth Affairs Ministry to strengthen cooperation with the UNDP, stressing the importance of continuing to enhance these relations to achieve common aspirations.
