Ramallah - Ma'an - Ziad Al-Fuqaha assumed his duties today as Acting Chairman of the Water Authority, succeeding Engineer Mazen Ghoneim, based on Cabinet Resolution No. (12/19/R.W) for the year 2024. Al-Fuqaha holds a Master's degree in Business Administration and has been working at the Water Authority for more than 25 years, during which he held several positions in the Authority, the last of which was Director General of Development. He also chaired several technical committees that contributed effectively to developing the water sector and raising the efficiency of water service providers. During the handover ceremony, Eng. Ghanem wished Al-Faqah success in his new job, which comes in light of the critical circumstances experienced by the Palestinian people and the destruction of various sectors, including the water sector. For his part, Al-Fuqaha praised the important role of Engineer Ghanem and the achievements made during his career as head of this vital institution, wishing him success in his new d uties as Ambassador of the State of Palestine, stressing that institutional organization is the basis for the success of the work, and this is what was previously established to be completed during the coming periods.
